The
Chicago Beaars have made changes this season,
which include the entire offensive backfield,
four of the five line, as well as putting in a
new head coach, rookie Lovie Smith and new coordinators. In other news, linebacker Warrick Holdman has moved to the Cleveland Browns, defensive end Phillip Daniels has moved to the Washington Redskins and wide receiver Dez White has moved to the Atlanta Falcons. On the other hand, the right hand side of the offensive line looks better with John Tait at tackle and Ruben Brown at guard.

Halas coached the team on and off for forty seasons, an NFL record .Formed in 1920 the team was first named Decatur Staleys and played in the American Professional Football Association (APFA), the team then changed it's name to the Chicago Staleys a year later(1920) and during that year they won one League Championship. In 1922 the team joined the National Football League (NFL), in the NFL they have won the League Championships (Super Bowl) eight times (1932,1933, 1940, 1941, 1943, 1946, 1963 and 1985(Superbowl XX)). The Chicago Bears have won three Conference Championships (1956 (WFC), 1963 (WFC) and 1985 (NFC)), fifteen Division Championships (eight in the (NFL west) and seven in (NFC Central)) and have appeared in the playoffs twenty three times since 1932. The team Stadium (Soldier Field) is situated in Chicago, Illinois and has a seating capacity of 66,944.
