 The
Denver Broncos on Wednesday (June 2) ended defensive tackle
Daryl Gardener brief and tumultuous stint , when the team waived
him. Gardener who was suspended twice last season for conduct
detrimental to the team, and in March he and the team settled a
dispute over his $5 million signing bonus, release was expected.
In other news, quarter back Jarious Jackson will attempt to make the transition from quarterback to safety this
off-season. Last season (2003 regular season) the Denver Broncos
came second in the West Division standings of the American
Football Conference, having won ten games and lost six , with a
.625 percentage and clinched a playoff spot.
