Green Bay, also referred
to as titletown, with a population of slightly above one hundred thousand
residents is the third largest city in the state of Wisconsin, behind
Milwaukee and the state capital Madison. The city is the county seat of
Brown.
Green Bay is situated one hundred and eighty kilometers north of
Milwaukee. The National Railroad Museum and Neville Public Museum are both
based in Green Bay. The city is home to a National Football League (NFL)
team, the Green Bay Packers. The franchise was the first double winner of
the Super Bowl championship with the debut in 1967, thrashing Kansas City
Chiefs and Oakland Raiders. Green Bays' economy is driven by the following

A trading post was first put up in 1643 by a
French-Canadian, Jean Nicolet. In the eighteenth century, Green Bay's
economy thrived under the fur trade. In the nineteenth century due to the
recession of the fur trade, the city became a hub for lumber and a farm
area. Green Bay has doubled it's population in the last fifty years.
Publication of the states first newspaper "The Green
Bay Intelligencer" was done in Green Bay back in 1833. Green bay was
